Supervision of 410 km Feeder Roads Rehabilitation — 8 Agricultural Districts
ISC supervises the rehabilitation of approximately 411 km of Class F2 feeder roads across eight key agricultural districts in Sierra Leone under the IFAD-financed Agriculture Value Chain Development Project.
Project Overview
The infrastructure component includes the construction of 625 single box culverts, 24 double box culverts, 32 pipe culverts, and 3 bridges — all designed for climate-resilient drainage and year-round accessibility. ISC's supervision services cover daily site monitoring, quality assurance, materials testing, payment certification, contract administration, and environmental and social safeguard oversight.
Stakeholder engagement is maintained throughout with AVDP, SLRA, District Councils, EPA, and local communities, with particular emphasis on inclusive participation of women and youth.
