Design, ESIA and Construction Supervision — Bridges and Culverts, 8 Districts

ISC was engaged by SCADeP, funded by DFID and the World Bank, to carry out design, preparation of bidding documents, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, monitoring, and construction supervision for spot improvement works including small bridges and culverts across Kenema, Kono, Kailahun, Western Area Rural, Port Loko, Kambia, Moyamba, and Bonthe Districts.

ISC's team conducted project mobilisation, field investigations, assessment and prioritisation of river and stream crossing sites, and detailed engineering studies covering geotechnical, hydrological, hydraulic, and traffic analysis. The team prepared detailed design calculations, technical drawings, cost estimates, and bidding documents, undertook ESIA studies, supervised construction, and monitored progress during the defect liability period.

All work was completed in compliance with World Bank and DFID safeguard requirements.
